The soft-skills, that is, the passive skills we have, are given more importance by employers every year. The concept of soft skills has begun to gain importance as it is possible to access almost any information at any time thanks to technology.
In addition to technical experience, employers now attach importance to passive skills that fall within the scope of soft skills such as leadership, time management, problem solving and creative thinking.
In this week’s article of #MiorecSuggests, we will take a look at the passive skills that employers care most about in today’s world and give advice for you to highlight them.
We can say that the skills we state in our CVs are divided into two categories. These are technical and passive skills (Soft and hard skills).
While technical skills continue to remain indispensable for many positions, the importance of passive skills has become very important with the advancement of digitalization and artificial intelligence.
When you look at recent job postings, you can see many passive skills in the “Requirements” section of the job posting.
As Miorec, in the survey we conducted on our LinkedIn profile, we asked: “Which do you think is the most important soft skill, that is, passive skill?” The results of the votes cast by dozens of people, both employers and employees, are as follows:
- The majority voted for the “Problem Solving” skill. When we looked at the job status of the people who voted, we saw that the majority of them were in “manager” positions.
- The second most rated skill is time management. In other words, people give more importance to passive skills that will bring practicality and results in business life.
Here are the passive skills that you can add to your CV and that employers care about most:
